Mary spent over a decade negotiating multimillion-dollar contracts for the U.S. government, including high-stakes COVID-19 supply negotiations on behalf of the White House. After leaving government service, she began building her advisory practice to help entrepreneurs, founders, and executives master strategic pricing and negotiation.

When Mary came to Mellynated, she had deep expertise and global credibility, but her digital presence didn’t yet reflect the scale of her authority. She needed a brand ecosystem that positioned her not just as a consultant, but as a global strategist, speaker, and thought leader.

Specifically, she needed:

Goals of the Project

The objectives of this project focused on elevating Mary’s positioning from practitioner to authority.

  1. Clarify her brand positioning; define her core philosophy around soft power, strategic pricing, and global influence while articulating who she serves and how she transforms their businesses.

  2. Translate expertise into intellectual property; turn Mary’s real-world negotiation experience into structured frameworks and messaging that could anchor her brand, speaking topics, and advisory services.

  3. Establish a high-authority digital presence; ensure her LinkedIn profile, website, and content ecosystem reflected the scale of her experience and positioned her as a global strategist.

  4. Increase credibility and visibility; develop assets that would support speaking engagements, media features, and executive advisory opportunities.


Deliverables

Brand Voice Blueprint (BVB)

We developed Mary’s Brand Voice Blueprint to serve as the foundation of her entire brand ecosystem. This included defining her core philosophy around soft power and quiet authority, outlining her signature frameworks (including pricing and negotiation models), clarifying her target audiences, and establishing consistent messaging pillars.

The BVB also captured her unique positioning at the intersection of global negotiation strategy, pricing intelligence, and lifestyle-centered entrepreneurship. This document now serves as the strategic guide for all future content, media, and brand communication.
